How does the cost of Alumawood compare to that of real wood?

The cost of an Alumawood Kit is comparable to that of a Wooden Patio Cover or carport. Although, with Alumawood, you will never have to worry about spending money and hours of backbreaking work to scrape, paint, and repair the structure.  And unlike real wood Alumawood is backed by a lifetime warranty against: cracking, peeling, fading, warping, and rotting.  Therefore, not only is Alumawood comparable in price, but in the long run it costs much, much less (and it looks better).

What are the benefits of Alumawood?

Alumawood Patio Cover Awnings are constructed of an embossed aluminum with a richly textured wood-grain finish. It has heavy header beams and a weather-resistant Tuffcoat™ paint finish that withstands the harshest conditions, including sun, rain, wind, and extreme temperatures.  Alumawood is virtually maintenance-free and stays looking new for years, because unlike real wood, Alumawood won’t: burn, crack, peel, warp, rot, or attract termites, and it does not rust.  Alumawood is also environmentally friendly, because it helps preserve our nation’s forests.  All Alumawood products are backed with a manufacturer’s lifetime warranty.

Alumawood Patio Covers are offered in two different styles to suit your needs. If you want added shade but still prefer partial sun to shine through and don’t want to screen out refreshing breezes, our Lattice shade structure is the ideal solution. However, our Flat-Panel Solid Roof shade structure is the best choice for providing you and your outdoor furniture with maximum protection against the elements. You’ll be able to enjoy your outdoor living space even when the weather isn’t ideal.
